Dragon Rider is a book about an adventure of a boy called Ben, a brownie called Sorrel and a dragon called Firedrake to fight against a golden dragon created to hunt dragons called Nettlebrand.Although this book is quite fun to read (and to put you to sleep :P), I don't recommend it. I chose to read it because I saw that it was an internationally best selling book. However, when I read it, it was kind of disappointing because the storyline was childish, lame and too stereotypical. I could even predict what happened next, so there was not much surprise to me. It is quite boring, poorly written & plotted and the characters are poorly described. My rating: 4/10.
